HR Documentation Standardization to International Requirements
The company’s internal HR policies, including Internal Labor Regulations and employment contracts, were primarily designed to regulate employment relationships in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the annual EBRD audit, several corporate documents were identified as not fully aligned with the fundamental requirements of EBRD Performance Requirement 2 (PR2), resulting in a formal compliance requirement for the company.
Our team comprehensively revised the company’s HR documentation package and developed the necessary internal regulatory documents in line with international requirements. We supported their implementation, organized communication and clarification of the new requirements throughout the supply chain, and conducted additional training sessions. Particular attention was given to monitoring the actual implementation of the revised documentation by contractors and other participants across the supply chain.
As a result, the company’s internal regulations and HR documentation were brought into full compliance with the applicable international standards and EBRD PR2 requirements. The implementation of the relevant Environmental and Social Action Plan (ESAP) requirements was confirmed by the EBRD, and the corresponding action item was officially closed by the Bank.
