ESDD / Environmental and Social Due Diligence
Document Review (Desk Review): review of incorporation documents, emissions permits, personnel records, occupational health and safety logs, contractor agreements and collective bargaining agreements.
On-site Audit (Site Visit): expert visits to production sites to inspect sanitary protection zones, waste storage facilities, workplaces and infrastructure.
Interviews with Personnel and Management: confidential worker surveys, meetings with trade unions / employee representatives and interviews with senior management.
Contractor Performance Assessment: verification of contractors’ compliance with labour rights and occupational safety requirements.
What the client receives:
A detailed Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) report, including a gap analysis identifying discrepancies between current practices and EBRD requirements, an assessment of financial risks and recommendations for mitigating them.
