Overtime Verification
During an international inspection, discrepancies were identified between employee timesheets and actual work schedules at the construction site. These inconsistencies raised concerns regarding potential systematic underpayment for overtime and excess working hours, resulting in a formal compliance notice for the project.
Our team conducted a comprehensive cross-check of electronic access control data, employee timesheets, and payroll records. Actual employee presence at the site was reconciled against recorded working hours and overtime payments. For each identified discrepancy, a complete set of supporting documentation was prepared and submitted to the EBRD.
As a result, a transparent working-time matrix was established, providing clear evidence of the accuracy of recorded hours and related payments. The EBRD accepted the supporting evidence demonstrating completion of the corrective actions, and the identified violation was subsequently marked as “Completed.”
